With the cool temperatures around the Alexandria lakes area the fishing has been picking up crappies are starting to bite deep cabbage beds, using twister tails or small fat heads on jigs. Walleyes around the lakes area are starting to turn into a fall bite, Look to be switching back to jigs and minnows within the next few weeks. Bass are really starting to move shallow with frogs starting to move back into the lakes, also a crank bait bite has been well as the fish are transitioning and really chasing baits.
